Today is New Years Day and we are just chilling at home. With no plans at all we ended up hanging with friends Shaun and Joe.
We watched some ice hockey, Canada VS USA. (Canada won by the way) and then watched Dick Clarks New years Rocking Eve show which was pretty cool.
Before midnight we headed off towards the river in -19 degree weather. There was more ice than road so we had to tread carefully. The fireworks were pretty awesome. After that we tried to find our way home in the dark and unfamiliar streets. It was our first little adventure in the New Year and can't wait to make this year greater than the last which will be pretty hard to do.
