Day 004 - Stanley Park Vancouver, BC

Today we kind of slept in a little, we didn’t venture out until 12midday but it gets dark around 9pm so we weren’t too concerned.

After an awesome lunch at Robinson Sushi, we explored Stanley Park, which is kind of like Central Park in New York, except in Vancouver.  We took allot of the paths less travelled and it was like we were in the middle of nowhere, or as Sammy would say Twilight-ville. It turns out we only visited about a 3rd of it so as it is 1000 acres of forest so we're planning to go back soon.

It is amazing, every step we had our mouths hanging open from the pure beauty of it all. You have the mountains, the ocean, the massive bridges, ocean liners, sky scrapers, marina’s, dense forest, lakes and wildlife all crammed in together with amazing weather. 24 degrees and not a cloud in the sky, breath taking.

Here are some of our favourite pics from today, we mainly focused on the wild life which live in the area such as the common grey squirrel (some are black), geese, seal's, beavers, white swan's and bumble bee's.

We took some corny shots of us in the forest but it truly is very lush and hard to believe unless your there.

Here are some other pics from the day, enjoy.....

and yes more squirrel's
