Day 015 - Camping is Awesome!

Our first night of camping went really well.  Thanks to Kevin and Patrick for lending us their blow up mattress, pump and tent, we had a great experience.  Here are some photos Marc took from our tent last night:

I think Marc is much less worried about camping and about bears now that he has spoken to a few locals.
We do have some disappointing news, we missed out on getting on to this kayaking tour with the killer whales we wanted to do.  Its very upsetting, but we are trying to figure something out and find some other company to do something similar.

So we are camping again tonight.  The camping grounds here are AWESOME!  So different from back home.  All of them are in the middle of beautiful forest with individual camp sites which is what we got for tonight or big communal sites which is what we did last night.  Marc even got some wood to have our own fire.  That’s what I mean by different, you can have fires on every site, which also has its own park tables and bench but most of all every place allows dogs (on leash ofcourse) but still so awesome to see.  We would love to go camping with Sasha bum but most national parks don’t allow pets :-(

I love the Canadian way for life, parents taking their kids camping, you see kids everywhere on their bikes riding around the park, so much fun!!!  Its so great to see parents teaching their kids to be outdoors and entertain themselves without TV or electronic games.
Anyway, so we are at another starbucks to do this blog so I’m going to keep this short.  Here are some photos from today.

Stopped at this cool Mexican place for lunch, it was awesome!

That's right Lyndon and Suz.. Fish Tacos, the house favourite!  They have them everywhere here!

This is the beach right next to our camp site, so cool!

Marc trying to film me without me realising...

Views of the mountains over the ocean, PRICELESS
