Day 003
Had such a great day yesterday. We ended up at an awesome party in Gastown sponsored by a VFX company called Image Engine. They did cool movies like District 9 and Twilight - Breaking Dawn. Everyone that worked there had this cool shirt on with a crazy robot on it from this top secret movie they’re going to be working on. We still don’t know what the project is but we tried very hard to find out.

We met some fun people at the party including Fred who worked with Marc at RSP, he is an Iron Man and is going to compete in a few weeks again. Crazy! Also met a guy named Justin who’s wife is a photographer and oh my god Flanny this is for you.... he worked on Twilight!!! Currently working on Breaking Dawn doing the wolf scenes.. HELLS YEAH! Was very fun night!!!

We then ended up having dinner at Rogue and had the most awesome Mahi Mahi Fish tacos with Yam fries! Had dinner with Viviana, Marc Jackson, Ethan and Oba. Then we decided to go to the ‘end of Siggraph’ party in Yale Town. Viviana took us on the train and showed us around. We ended up at this bar called Gold Fish and had awesome deserts and drinks. Ended up walking home at midnight, Marc was a little tipsy, Oba was drunk, which was funny. I ended up calling mum on skype phone at home at 2 am which was 7 pm the next day for back home. Calling on skype is awesome, really clear.
So needless to say we were pretty tired the next day. We got up to go meet Oba for fish and chips before he had to leave for the airport. We ended up not finding him and never had a chance to say goodbye. :-( Bummer! We did have a late lunch with Kirsten and her husband Collin in Yale Town. Was really fun catching up.
Oh forgot to mention we opened up our bank account and Shannon you might enjoy this, the young banker chicky was wearing this really short red skirt and gave us a bit of a show…
Anyway it was such a beautiful day that we decided to walk along the water on our way home, these are the photos we got.

About to go to bed early as jet lag has caught up with us again….
