Day 009 - New CAR and Go Pro Video

Wow, we’ve been here longer than we realised.  That often happens to us when we're travelling!  We thought we had just been here 5 or 6 days but it was a week yesterday!!!

So we are still staying with Patrick and Kevin, they’ve been super nice and we have really enjoyed staying with them.  Its so awesome to see for ourselves what its like to live in Vancouver.

We bought our car today!!!  I was really nervous about it all, and you guys know me, I like to stress about most things…  We met the owner of the car Prescilla and she was soooo lovely!  We really liked her and her partner Travis, they seem like really nice people.  They go camping a lot and suggested we could go camping some time, which would be awesome!!!!  So who knows… we might be camping this weekend!! 

The whole process of buying the car was actually really smooth.  Everything was located in the same street.  We now have our very own Canadian Number Plates!!

 For dinner we went to a Thai Place called Mango Thai with Keven and Patrick and a bunch of their frientds.  After we went to a penthouse owned by 1 of  Kevin and Patrick’s friends and watched Alfred Hichcock’s ‘BIRDS’ on the roof with a massive projection on the wall.

The funniest part was we were being watched by a huge Sea bird the whole time, it was just hovering over us and swooping by. Very fitting with what we were watching....

This is our first test using our new go pro.  It was taken during our walk through Stanley Park.  Gives you a good sense of how dense and beautiful the forest is.  The video is 720p 60fps.  AWESOME!  Can't wait to use it more!
