Day 065 - Birds of Prey ( WARNING 90 Photos )

So today was kinda interesting, walking around town grabbing a bagle and coffee for breakfast and came across a group of birds of prey and their handlers.

This little falcon guy kept puffing up his feathers and later on had a little fly around.

This Goldern Eagle is actually 100% blind, he isn't confindent enough to fly so as the handler said if you left him on the bench you could come back in 2 weeks and he would still be there. Interacting with the public helps him as he gets some interaction.

The great horned owl was pretty cool, super chilled out. He'll just stare right at you and not even flinch.

This guy is constantly scanning the sky and trees with his 270 degree neck rotation.

This prob my favourite pic of the day, this is a toddler so you can see just how small these little guys are.

He was putting on a show for me, Awesome....

Getting sleepy

Check out his pupil when the sun hits it....

The guy is a Burrowing Owl and Sammy's favourite I think...

s you can probably tell this guy was my favourite, wish I knew exactly what type of Falcon it is...

This guy is going to sleep too.

Here is a few dogs from in and around town...

Hope you enjoyed todays pics, a little over kill but I think worth it....
