The last few days have been all about looking for permanent accommodation and exploring Canmore. I am happy to say that we finally found an appartment. Its not in Banff like we originally planned, the truth is, the accommodation in Banff wasn't really for us. It was rather expensive and for the most part, it was a sharehouse or a tiny old studio with a bed coming out of the wall cupboard....
So anyway, we are moving in on the 1st of October. In the mean time we'll be staying at Claude's which has been awesome. She lives in this great 2 bedroom appartment with amazing amenities such as a gym, sauna, pool, library, common lounge but the BEST part is a PRIVATE CINEMA (or theatre). Marc was so excited, he went and hired blu-rays for the last 2 nights. Its been really fun, the three of us in our own cinema, drinking wine and eating pop corn in our own Lazy-boys.
We have been stocking up on winter gear while the sales are still on. We bought snow pants today, just need to find me a snowboard, boots and bindings, goggles and a helmet next......
We are going to Jasper tomorrow for a photography / hiking expedition for a few days so hopefully we will have internet connection over that time to post some photos on the blog.
