Day 042 - Leaving Jasper back to Canmore...

This is the view just out the front of our cabin from last night.
Not bad eh...

I'm gonna keep this blog short as we have lots going on at the moment. Sandrine starts her new job tomorrow, I have a job interview and I have to buy winter tyres before it starts snowing here.

Papa Georges Restaurant

"Ok, so This is Horseshoe Bay, Ok. It is really cool, it has cliffs for jumping, crystal clear water & lots of little fishies."   Ze End ( End of z world reference)

We made heaps of HDRI's of this place but like I said we're abit crazy at the moment. Running out of hard drive space too which is real fun. Deleting files, backing things up & transfering stuff driving me alittle bonkers but were onto it. Just annoying.

This is my serious face. "Don't point that thing at me!"

Awesome point to jump from, the drop is out of the frame so it's quite high. I would've done it with my Go Pro but it's about 6 or 7 degree water and I tottally wasn't prepared. I wonna go back one day and doit for sure.

You can see how deep it is, the rocks you can see in the water are a straight down verticle drop. Prob 15m visability...

Chickened out, water that cold feels like knives all over your body...

We came here to look for mountain sheep, they come to lick the minerals from the limestone cliff edge. No luck today.

This is my fav pic of the day.. Nice one Sammy :) Testing out our 8 x Neutral Density filter.

Weird tree

Wierd mushroom

We went off track alittle bit for a closer look and to chill by the falls. We found a ledge that from the front seamed perfectly stable.

See from the ledge we get a nice shot.

Off the ledge the falls are little blocked and not as nice.

Sammy jumped on the ledge to show off the spot by the water...

This is from Claudes point of view, what seamed like a solid cliff edge actually was and over hanging piece of rock....

Nice view but...

The drive back was terrible, all these mountains everywhere and trees that just go on and on....

The wind from the other side of the mountain is blowing the fresh snow from last night over the edge, pretty cool.

Huge ass Glacier

It's weird because this mountain in front of us was covered in snow and the one to the left which is at the same hieght and size had none at all.

This is my view looking north. (there is snow by Sandrine's feet in the shadow of the rock)

And this is Sammy's looking south.

Snow Ball.

Watching the sun set over the mountains. Don't worry we have plenty of HDRI's of this but we'll post these another day. :-(

Apparently the lake looks like a cayote 's head. What do you think?

Stopped in to the Lake Louise Train Station for Dinner.

hmmmm yum!

All the best guys and gals.

Hope you enjoyed the pics.
